Python

Python is growing in popularity among both large corporations and fledgling startups for its versatility and ease of use. Despite being very easy to learn and remember, Python is a powerful coding language that can be used to build websites, games, data analysis reports, and even MVPs of applications and desktop software programs. Python is also open source.

Because Python is open source, developers from all over the world can contribute to making Python a more versatile, user-friendly language. As a result, Python is compatible with the latest developments in tech and computer science. There are numerous Python frameworks and libraries to help you analyze data and build prototypes faster.

YouTube, Reddit, Quora, Instagram, and Spotify are just a few tech giants that have used Python to build amazing products. Whether you’re an aspiring back-end developer, data analyst, or data scientist, Python is a great coding language to learn. Here are three great reasons to learn Python:

  • Easy to read - Python uses white space rather than special characters ( < > $) to break up blocks of code, making it easier to scan and understand
  • Easy to remember - Unlike other coding languages, Python uses English words for commands, which helps developers remember their code
  • High-earning potential - Programmers who specialize in Python are among the highest paid in the industry; according to indeed.com, the average salary for a Python Developer in New York is $133,725 annually.

What Will You Learn in Python Bootcamps

  • Build software programs
  • Analyze data or write custom scripts in data analysis tools
  • Develop complex websites

In our Python courses, you’ll learn how to integrate Python with other applications and frameworks, such as SPSS for statistics and data analysis, Jupyter for data science, and Flask for web development.

Our Python Classes and Coding Bootcamps

The Python in a Day course introduces students to data types and provides an overview of Object Oriented Programming (OOP). Using exercises from Python for Web Development and Python for Data Science, students learn by doing in a series of step-by-step exercises within a small class.

By the end of the course, students will know how to use a code editor and the Terminal (Mac) or command line (Windows). Every student will be able to think through use cases and write their own code.

Python for Data Science is a valuable training course for any professional interested in uncovering useful insights for their company. Through analyzing stock market data and real-world scenarios, students will learn data analysis principles that they can apply to unique situations at their own company. Students will learn how to evaluate data sets independently.

The class begins with an overview of coding basics, including an introduction to Python. Students will learn how to clean (normalize and remove outliers), analyze, and present data. By the end of the course, students will be able to use Python to compare and contrast data. Finally, students will use linear regression to make predictions.

For teens (13-19) interested in coding, communications, or tech, our Python bootcamp is an excellent introduction to coding and careers in general. Students need no prior coding knowledge or experience but should be comfortable with computer basics. The Python for Data Science summer camp is offered in both New York and New Jersey.
