AutoCAD is a suite of popular CAD (Computer Aided Design) software products for 2 and 3-dimensional design and drafting. Developed by Autodesk, the AutoCAD family of products has become the most widely used CAD software in the world. AutoCAD is a vector graphics drawing program, and it uses entities such as lines, polylines, circles, arcs, and text as the foundation for more complex objects. AutoCAD's native file format, AutoCAD DWG, and its interchange file format, DXF, have become the de facto gold standard in the industry for the interchange of 2D CAD data.
If you want to master beginner and intermediate functions of AutoCAD quickly, this bootcamp is the perfect place to start.
In this five-day, 40-hour course, you’ll go from learning the AutoCAD interface to using advanced AutoCAD techniques.
In the beginner AutoCAD class, you'll learn basic drawing and modifying techniques for drafting and technical drawing, using AutoCAD to create drawings that can be used to build real objects both mechanical and architectural.
In the intermediate class, you will learn to create a basic 2D drawing in the AutoCAD software. You will start with the basic tools to create and edit a simple drawing, and then continue to develop those tools. More advanced tools are introduced throughout the course.
Note: this is a PC-only course (not suitable for Mac users).
From our hands-on training style to world-class instructors and custom-crafted curriculum, we deliver results our alumni are proud of.

Glad I took the AutoCAD Bootcamp. It helped me understand the software and how to apply it to any field of work/specific preferences.

I was tasked with learning AutoCAD for work, and so many of the offerings out there are overpriced and more theoretical than practical. These classes teach actual literacy within the program quickly, and in an intimate classroom setting.

I enjoyed taking AutoCAD classes here. The classroom is clean, the instructor is quite helpful and knowledgeable, and every question I had was answered.

Dan Perico is extraordinarily knowledgeable regarding the AutoCAD software and course material, and as a result of the small class size and his clear communication (both speaking and written directions within the books), he was able to assist each of the students whenever necessary and reinforce each of the skills. The experience was excellent not only because of the instructor's outstanding teaching ability, knowledge, and enthusiasm, but also because the condensed format enabled students to complete the course in a short time period (particularly appreciated). Location was also extremely helpful in its proximity to transportation within New York City.

Dan is phenomenal instructor and their AutoCAD book is definitely the best.

Take this class if you want to learn AutoCAD seriously and if you would like hands-on experience with experts. The step-by-step instructions in conjunction with the one-on-one help in this small class allowed me to create a unique understanding of AutoCAD and how to draw all different types of drawings. It also allowed me to interpret and edit templates, and create and insert blocks. This course really helped explain the nuance of AutoCAD and why it is important for the industries that use it to do it right, and it shows how to streamline the productivity of the industry by avoiding the pitfalls of many self-taught and non-specialists who use AutoCAD to communicate designs.

The Career Centers instructors are highly skilled communicators who really know their craft. They are wonderful about explaining and re-explaining when necessary and I never felt rushed or foolish for asking a question.
