Most of our coding classes utilize freely-available open-source software. For most of our design and motion graphics courses, we will help you get set up with a free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you attend the course in-person, we will have a computer already set up for you with all of the required software for no additional cost.

Get comfortable with After Effects in this introductory course. You'll learn how to animate text and graphics to create dynamic title sequences, TV content, and standalone videos. You will also start learning how to add special effects and build 3D objects.

Unit 2 18 Hours

Cinema 4D in After Effects Bootcamp

Create 3D models using Cinema 4D Lite
Learn about and work with animations
Integrate with After Effects to render 3D projects

Unit 3 18 Hours

After Effects Advanced

Work with 3D layers, cameras, and lights to create dynamic scenes
Create and animate custom shape layers using the Pen Tool
Develop advanced text animations and save presets for future use
Optimize animations with expressions and wire parameters for complexity
Enhance audio integration by adding markers and applying audio effects

Premiere Pro Bootcamp

Learn how to organize and import footage, exporting options, how to use the Timeline, create titles, work with PSDs, use audio tracks, and more. Then, dive into more advanced features including multicam editing, color correction, speeding up footage, and stop-motion loops.

Motion Graphics Portfolio Bootcamp

This hands-on, individualized course will take your current software and design skills to the next level. You'll learn the principles of motion graphics and the best practices to create unique motion graphics from concept to completion, resulting in portfolio-worthy projects to show potential clients.

Students must be comfortable using a computer. No other prior knowledge is required.

Can I take this course online (remote learning)?

You may attend this training virtually (online) at the scheduled time the course is offered (New York, Eastern Time).

How does attending “live online” work?

Students can attend this training remotely through screen sharing software (we use Zoom).
Participants can hear the instruction, ask questions, and even share their screen with the instructor.
For audio you can use your computer’s microphone/speakers or call a phone number that we’ll provide.
Classes are activity-based and taught by a live instructor, so we strongly encourage students who are local to the area to attend in person!
You will need your own computer and copy of any required software. If you don’t have the software, you can usually do a free trial or purchase your own license. If you need assistance, contact us at nyc@careercenters.com

What happens if I need to miss a session?

You have some options:

You can watch a recording of the session. We will provide any course materials.
If you can’t come into the classroom but can still attend remotely, we will provide you with the Zoom login information.
You can use your free retake to make up any missed class time.
